Our people-focused approach

We take a people-focused, User Experience (UX) approach to our work to better understand your needs and the needs of your customers. We then plan a solution that will deliver the best results. Planning things first saves doing multiple iterations later in the design and development phases.

This is our ideal process but we know that every project and requirement is different.

The User Experience (UX) Phase

Discovery

We start by discussing your requirements to understand what you need, what your goals are and how we can best deliver the right solution.

Content

The next piece of the puzzle is your content, which we can help you plan and organise. Good content will help you connect with your audience.

Planning

A UX approach is led by the Discovery and Content phases. Then we plan the structure and layout of your site before investing time in design or development.

The Design, Development and Delivery Phases

As we move through the design and development phases, we will share each element with you as it’s created so you have time for reviews and revisions. This allows us to make ongoing improvements as we progress.

Design

Now we can begin to create your designs and apply your branding with colours, fonts, icons and imagery. You will have time to review and amend each design before we start the next one.

Development

Next we start programming your website’s functionality, pages, components and add 3rd party services. Again, you will have time to test and review each element as it’s completed.

Delivery

Once your website is completed and launched we will be on hand to help you with ongoing updates and management so you can focus on your business and your customers.

We hope this summary gives you a general idea of how we like to work. It’s the ideal approach that leads to the best results but we understand that every project is different.
